The easiest airport to fly into is Houston Hobby (HOU) — about a 45-minute drive to the Port of Galveston, and typically the closest and simplest option. Houston Bush Intercontinental (IAH) is the larger international hub, roughly 75 minutes away. We strongly recommend flying in on Friday, Nov 13 — or even Thursday, Nov 12 — to settle in, avoid travel-day stress, and be relaxed and ready at the pier well before the 4:00 PM Saturday departure.
